Hello, my name is Peter Davis, and I am in my third year at Mundelein Seminary. This means I will be ordained a deacon in 2027, and a priest in the summer of 2028, God willing! I was born in Naperville and grew up there with my two older sisters, Therese and Patricia. Growing up, I loved being an altar server but didn't know yet that the Lord was inviting me to seminary. I attended Naperville Central High School and then started college at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The witness of joy and faith in the Catholic community on this campus inspired me to grow deeper in my faith, and I began to feel a strong desire to spend more time in prayer. Over the following years I continued to experience God's love and mercy deeper and deeper in my life and the desire to join seminary was undeniable. I entered Saint John Vianney College Seminary in 2021, and truly every day has been a gift from the Lord. I am very excited to be with you at St. Joseph’s and Our Lady of Perpetual Help for these coming years!
